Singapore's eldercare services are coordinated through the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC). As of 2024, there are approximately 88 nursing home locations (~48 VWO-run, ~40 private) with ~19,200 beds, 20+ senior care centre operators with 100+ locations, and numerous home care providers. CAREGIVER SUPPORT
Home Caregiving Grant (HCG)
- Amount: $200–$600/month (means-tested). Maximum $600 from April 2026.
- Eligibility: Care recipient is SG Citizen/PR, living with caregiver, not institutionalised, needs help with 3+ ADLs. PCHI ≤$4,800.
- Apply: Doctor/nurse signs Functional Assessment Report → submit to AIC. Processing 6–8 weeks.
